FCA Gallery Mixed Exhibition 2022
AlieNation
In the labyrinth of our own existence, we
find ourselves entangled in the intricate web of a precarious and fragile
world. The very essence of our being is overshadowed by relentless and indomitable
changes. In this ceaseless journey, we grapple with the ephemeral nature of our
surroundings, a reality that constantly shifts beneath our feet, leaving us in a
perpetual state of alienation and an overwhelming sense of not belonging in
this world anymore.
As
our surroundings inexorably change, familiar anchors of stability dissipate,
and a pervasive loss of life equilibrium overwhelms us. We feel displaced and
estranged. The very essence of belonging becomes elusive, being little by
little replaced by a palpable sense of alienation. We find ourselves adrift, struggling
with a profound disconnect from the very fabric of our own existence.
In
this bewildering landscape, the desire for a place of acceptance intensifies,
and the search for meaningful connections becomes vital.

"Mixed media is becoming increasingly more popular, as new media is discovered and developed and fresh ways to use media are being explored. In the Federation’s first exhibition dedicated to mixed media artwork, artists are encouraged to submit their mixed pieces for an exhibition that broadens the mind and excites the eye!"
