The piece is about self-empowerment materials
distributed by uber-knowledgeable “gurus”, who promise us success if we follow
their “rules”. It was inspired by and incorporates the book titled “The
Ultimate Secret to Getting Absolutely Everything you Want” by Mike Hernacki.

ONE PIECE OF PACKED WASHED BRAIN
The tridimensional assemblage is about the
delivery of “news” and “knowledge” through various media of communication. It
aims to illustrate the expression “brainwashed” with respect to
mass media and the continuous bombardment of our brains with pre-interpreted
and altered information.
The piece is rather satirical than dark and
intents to intrigue not to discourage.

Both of the above tridimensional artworks were created using readymades and contain, by design, time-based elements such as wires, metal pieces, metal mesh, newsprint paper, etc. These elements change over time, forever transforming the works into something unplanned and unexpected.
